Worship Center Interior Work Nearing Completion

Wall board is up and painting is quickly giving our new worship center a finished look. Phillips Construction provided a list of items which could be completed with money on-hand and quickly went back to work on our new building in early June. Lights are hung, sheetrock is nearly completed, and most walls have been primed and painted. Excitement is growing as the interior of the building takes shape.

The building interior has been designed to provide decorative recessed wall designs. Wall colors resemble the exterior colors with additional complementary patterns in carpet and stone floor tile. Flooring and other final touches will not be completed until donations provide the remainder of $188,000 needed for a Certificate of Occupancy. The church family has been giving generously with hopes of completing all that is necessary for Calvary to move in by the church's 102nd anniversary, July 4th, 2010.

A Certificate of Occupancy will allow the church to begin worshipping in the new building with old sound equipment, no specialty stage lighting, and old chairs. We are praying for an additional $125,000 to fully equip the new building.
