Growing through Mid-Week Studies
Adult studies
A variety of short term studies are offered on Wednesday
nights for adults from September through May. Special
focus studies, new member studies, Bible studies, and prayer
groups are scheduled throughout the year with times and dates
listed in the church bulletin, at the Welcome Center tables, and
in newsletters. Some of these classes begin at 6:00 PM and some
at 6:30. Dinner is offered from 5:15 to 5:45 to make it easier
for adults to attend. It is also easier for adults to attend
because all ages are active from 6:00 to 8:00 with nursery care
for small children, Awana for children 3 years old through 6th
grade, and N.O.W. for students 7th through 12th grade.
N.O.W. for Students
"NOT OF THIS WORLD" is what Student Ministries calls their
Wednesday evening gathering. A special student worship is
followed by Bible Study in small groups and then some
recreation/fun time. Students discover the excitement and joy of
Christian living and develop strength and boldness to face the
many pressures and temptations of the typical middle and high
school student.
AWANA for children 3 years old
through 6th grade
AWANA clubs meet from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every
Wednesday evening. Cubbies is for 3 and 4 year olds. Sparks is
the club for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade. The
third through sixth grade girls and boys club is named Truth and
Training. Each club uses Bible-centered handbooks and special
activities to help children gain a solid understanding of the
basics of Christianity.
