Who we are: Hopegivers is a group of concerned believers who have bonded together in a non-profit organization that is both non-governmental and tax-exempt. Our president is Dr. Samuel Thomas, the son of our founder, Bishop M.A. Thomas.

What we do: We reach out to desperately poor and oppressed people with Christ's love, starting with abandoned children. Most Hopegivers begin helping by sponsoring a fatherless child - but we also reach out to anyone in need, including AIDS victims, lepers, single mothers, widows, and victims of disasters, both natural and man-made.

How we began: We trace our roots back to the Emmanuel Fellowship, founded in 1960 by Bishop M.A. Thomas in Kota, Rajasthan, India. We began in the United States in 1978 and our work is spreading around the world.

What we believe: We believe we should love our neighbors as ourselves, and love God with all our hearts. While we are a faith-based charity that helps indigenous leaders, we are not a church. We do not use compassionate aid as leverage to proselytize or convert people to a religion. We do not discriminate against anyone; we help all in need as we are able.

Monthly child sponsorship. The best way to make a lasting difference in the life of a needy child is a monthly sponsorship of $30. Call or write today to start your monthly plan or send a $360 annual gift for each child you wish to rescue. Save a child today.

Hopegivers' new E-Z GIVE plan. Your contribution to Hopegivers can be made regular and secure by automatic fund transfer from your bank or financial institution. Just send a voided check to Becky or Ivy, let us know how much you want to give monthly, on which date you want your account charged, and we will do the rest. Be sure to include your phone number.

Online giving. You can give by credit card online at www.hopegivers.org Simply click on the "give now" button and follow the prompts. The system is totally safe and secure. If you choose, your monthly Hopegiver support can be charged monthly. Full details are given, or see above.

Gifts in kind, capital grants, wills and bequests. Hopegivers International is an outstanding way to make a larger gift that will help build a "Hope Home" cottage for 20 orphans, establish a "Hope Center" to serve the larger needs of a village, or otherwise leverage your giving for maximum impact.
