Adults

Adults at Calvary Baptist Church get connected in several ways:

Join a Sunday School class: Sunday morning Bible study groups do more than just meet during the Sunday School hour. Each class plans get-togethers throughout the year, they keep in touch with members in need of prayer or assistance, and connections within the small group develop into long lasting friends.

Attend small group classes on Wednesday nights: While the children are in AWANAs and teens are with their youth activities, adults choose between a variety of interesting studies. These informal groups provide opportunity to meet new people expand your familiarity with the church family.

Join the choir: Our seasonal choirs are enjoyable opportunities to serve with others to provide great musical messages for the church while being involved with people you might not know. Choir time is always bonding time under the direction of our minister of worship, Mark Helms.

Serve in a ministry: We grow closest to the people with whom we work side-by-side. There are many areas of service needing new volunteers. Youth ministry, AWANAs, preschool and nursery child care, Vacation Bible School, Ushers/Greeters, sound and lights team, and many other ministries will connect you to other adults.

You can also check-out the tabs to the right titled men, women, seniors, and college.
